class="h2pagebreak"><a name="kanchor114"></a>Your Host Mac or PC is Offline</h2> <p class="Procedure">What is Offline?</p> <p>If you log in to your GoToMyPC account and see that the <span style="font-style: italic;">My Computers</span> page is showing that one of your PCs is <i>Offline</i>, then one of three conditions, or a combination of conditions, may exist. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"> <img src="/FileManagement/Download/5aeef4293d584ac4aaf180b69494f085" /> </p> <p>The three conditions are:</p> <ul style="list-style: disc;" type="disc"> <li value="1">The host computer is powered off or in sleep mode</li> <li value="2">The host computer is not connected to the Internet</li> <li value="3">The GoToMyPC host software is not running</li> </ul> <p class="Procedure">How do I make a PC available?</p> <p>To make a Offline Mac or PC available for remote access, you will need to be at the computer and ensure that the following conditions are met:</p> <ul style="list-style: disc;" type="disc"> <li value="1">The host PC is turned ON (you do not need to be logged in and the for security reasons the computer should be locked) </li> <li value="2">The host PC is connected to the Internet with a live Internet connection</li> <li value="3">The GoToMyPC host PC software is running</li> </ul> <p class="Procedure"> <img <span style="font-weight: bold;">To start the GoToMyPC service</span></p> <ul style="list-style: disc;" type="disc"> <li style="font-weight: bold;" value="1"><span style="font-weight: normal;">If GoToMyPC is not running on a PC then from your taskbar choose <b>Start</b>, <b>Programs</b>, <b>Citrix</b> and then <b>GoToMyPC</b>.</span> </li> </ul> <blockquote> <p style="font-size: <span style="font-weight: bold;">To ensure GoToMyPC is available while your PC is turned ON</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-style: normal;" value="1">From your <a href="KBAnswer.asp?questionID=2970" target="_self">Host Preferences</a> make sure that GoToMyPC is set to start <i>Automatically </i>and that the <i>sleep mode</i> has been disabled<i>. </i>Without these items checked you will need to ensure that GoToMyPC is running and sleep mode has been disabled each time you leave the host computer unattended.</li> <p style="text-align: center;"> <img
